Paul & Tabitha Bachew and Family - Move to the USA

Paul and Tabitha met in Bible college and were married in 2000. They served as missionaries in EuroAsia for seven years. In 2008, they moved to Paul’s home country of Trinidad in the Caribbean, joining the pastoral staff of his family’s church. One of their goals for moving to Trinidad was to adopt a baby. They brought their first child home in 2012, and within a few years, two more were added to their family. It wasn’t until 2020, though, that the adoptions were finalized. Paul has worked as an associate/ family life pastor at Faith Assembly. Tabitha currently stays home with their three beautiful children and homeschools them. The kids are officially Bachews, but the challenges have not ended. The two older children had unbelievably difficult lives before being adopted. The trauma they lived through and the long-term effects on them are heartbreaking. However, research shows that things could change with the right therapy/services. They need help. These services are not available in Trinidad. Paul and Tabitha know that returning to the USA is the best thing they can do for their family. With a tight pastor’s salary, especially since COVID, they haven’t been able to save up much towards moving. They are looking at additional immigration fees (10k), plane tickets (5k), cash for a car, food, and housing at the beginning to help them transition. While Paul is confident he can land work quickly, it will be a tough transition as they are moving from a country where the Median income is around 7 US Dollars an hour. This family has given their lives to serving others. Paul and Tabitha have always been willing to give ALL they have to anyone in need. Now we would like to provide them with what they need - Money. Moving to a new country with three kids is hard enough, let alone ones with traumatic backgrounds and special needs. Let's ease the burden by alleviating their financial conditions as much as possible!
