The Aveldanez Family
At 6:30 this morning I received one of the worst calls I’ve ever received, my little sister was calling to tell me that their home was on fire. Before I could ask any questions she quickly let me know that my family was ok and hung up. The hour long car ride there seemed eternal and the whole time there I was hoping it had been like many of the fire calls I had been on myself and that it wasn’t THAT bad... it was worse. Luckily everyone made it out ok but my parents and siblings have lost everything. Clothes, shoes, documents, toys, all of their cars even the things that don’t seem too important like childhood pictures, memory boxes, all that sentimental value gone. I’ve never been big on asking for help but for my family I am willing to do anything. Nothing is too small and would be greatly appreciated.
