As many of you know, about a month ago, Austin was doing some sort of magical, heroic jumping move during the Cabbagetown Twisters softball game & landed wrong on his knee. He tore his left ACL, meniscus, hamstring and calf, as well as fracturing his tibia. It's pretty gnarly, honestly. The cost of the surgery (not including anesthesia, pain meds, or post-op rehab) is $9800. Austin doesn't have any insurance, so it's all out of pocket. With his knee injury, he's not really able to work (anyone need a one-legged personal trainer??), so this is a significant financial burden.
Austin has a huge heart and he makes the world a better, more gentle place. He has helped out his friends many times. Now he needs YOU.
