The Asante Project - Feeding & Education Program

Hi! My name is Alyssa. In January 2022, I went to Kenya to volunteer through the company IVHQ on a special needs care project. I initially thought that I would significantly impact the kids I was working with, not knowing that they would also affect me.

The word "Asante" in Swahili means "thank you" or "to appreciate." To give back, I created this CONTINUOUS fundraising page to raise money for the children in Kenya.

The Vumilia (means "endurance") School went through many hardships recently. They named themselves this after enduring hardships. The proceeds donated will fund a feeding and building program for the school.
