In June me and a very good friend are taking part in a Quadathalon.. which consists of.. a 1 mile swim, 4 mile kayak, 45 mile cycle finished off with an 8 mile run..
Given neither of us have ever done a duathlon, a triathlon or a quadathlon we are giving ourselves a big challenge, all in the name of adventure and charity. We have been so fortunate that we have already raised our target for the charity in which the event supports which means any additional raised I would like to donate to the Arthur Rank Hospice.
As many of you know I lost my Dad, Hugh Granger-Brown on the 9th of December and I am Completing this insane challenge in memory of him. The Norfolk superhero is a true testament to the incredible capabilities of the human body—reminding us all to push our limits and embrace what we can achieve while we have the chance..
My Dad spent the last two weeks of his life at The Arthur Rank and it was the most extraordinary experience, the care he received was second to none.
