Remembering Arsalan

On February 8, 2018, we found out that Arsalan, our dear friend Amineh’s beloved son and a close friend to our boys, a newly minted teenager and Robinson 8th grader full of kindness, character, intelligence and always ready to share his megawatt smile, received a devastating diagnosis.  To honor his family’s wishes, that diagnosis cannot be shared at this time, but our hearts were completely and utterly shattered.
 
As friends of the family (which also includes Hamid, his devoted father and Nina, his sweet and spunky younger sister), we have started this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the mounting expenses this hard working family is facing during this strenuous time.  As the parents of Arsalan’s closest friends, it gives our boys an opportunity to help their pal that they love so much.
 
There aren’t adequate words to describe the strength and courage this family has mustered during these last several months.  Not once have they asked for help. It was only after Hamid lost his job and the family’s only income while caring for Arsalan that we convinced them to allow us to fundraise on their behalf.  
 
We ask that you keep the Samani family in your hearts with good thoughts or prayers.  If you can contribute any amount, it would mean the world.  Please share this campaign with anyone that you know of that would be moved by Arsalan’s fight.
