The Arguello Family

I never in a million years thought I would be writing this request. My parents, brother, and my home was burned to the ground Tuesday, April 17. This was not just a home for us but it is where we grew up and achieved milestones, as well as grew in our faith to be people of God. I took my fist steps in that house, said my first words, learned to pray, rode my first bike, shot my first basketball and countless other firsts. We shared thousands of family meals under that roof. My brother and I learned so much in that home.  For my parents it was their everything! It was their home for almost 30 years. Now it is all gone. My parents, brother and I have such a strong faith and are staying positive with the support of our family,  church, friends, work family and community. By the grace of God everyone got out alive and that is what is most important. Although they have lost everything, we are finding that there is good to come out of this; a fresh start, a cleansing, and a new beginning!
