The Aperitivo Society... THE SHOP!

Hi, my name is Maria. A little over a year ago, I started hosting dinner parties for strangers. I know that sounds pretty insane, and truthfully it was (and maybe still is?), but it has singlehandedly been the best thing I have ever done. The Aperitivo Society has grown into a passionate community of thousands of New England based members all bravely showing up to a table full of strangers for dinner. We've partnered with brands and chefs and all kinds of wonderful, creative people, and every single day that this community grows I can't help but pinch myself at what it's all become. For the past year, this has been a not-for-profit endeavor. It's been all about the community, for the community, and by the community and I have loved every minute of that. But this wasn't always the dream, rather a happy accident, and I'm constantly staring at the glaring question: "WHAT'S NEXT?".

Well, if you know me personally, you've probably heard me talk about my dream of opening a retail store/cafe/bar. I've spent the better part of the last decade patiently waiting, dreaming, hoping, and wishing, and now, something deep inside of me is now quietly whispering that it's time. SO, help me open Aperitivo! The Shop and bring my dream to life!

Massachusetts is tricky, so we're starting small with the retail space and hopefully one day growing to the bar and cafe concepts. A couple hundred square feet in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Boston. A space for the Aperitivo Society community to gather on a regular basis. A shop for carefully curated home goods and speciality groceries. A blank slate for events and parties and collaborations. A community spot. A neighborhood spot.

Any donation would be so greatly appreciated, and it will directly help me fund my dreams and open up my doors. If you can't give, send some good thoughts and vibes and prayers my way.
