The Anvil Project

My name is Calli Moore, and I am the proud owner of Anvil Film Company! I am a western photographer and videographer based out my hometown in Sandpoint Idaho. I am married to my childhood sweetheart and a mom to little rowdy four year old cowboy! A few years ago I started my business and fell in love with capturing authentic western life. I have a passion for story telling and sharing this beautiful way of life with the world!

A few months ago I was unsure of what direction I wanted to take my business next, but knew I wanted to do something to make a difference in the western and agricultural communities, and around 3am it hit me. Fifty states, fifty ranches, one year. It was then I began to put together The Anvil Project.

The Anvil Project is a documentary that will be focusing on telling the stories of ranchers and farmers across the US, providing education about this lifestyle and what it entails, and encouraging people to support them and buy local. Every year family owned ranches and farms face many struggles to maintain their businesses. They are fighting economic, environmental, and political issues that often lead to debt and inevitably closure. Without them, we loose access too the clean and quality food that we love and the ability to choose how we feed our families. Through this documentary, we will be showing you what it really takes to operate a farm or ranch, share the stories of both their hardships and success, and how together, we can save Americas family owned farms and ranches.

Filming for the documentary will take place all of 2025 where I will be visiting ranches and farms in every state, and then premier the documentary in 2026! I am spending all of 2024 to lay the foundation for the project and acquire the funding and support that a project of this scale will require. The basic expenses so for this project total out to around $200,000, and while i've already gained some incredible financial sponsors and support, we still have a long ways to go! The biggest expenses we will have is for travel and purchasing/renting the rest of the filming equipment. I have had people ask if there is a way for them to donate to the project so I figured this would be the best way to go about it!

While I am currently needing funding myself to accomplish this project, my ultimate goal is to be able to give back to these communities and do giveaways and fundraisers throughout the duration of the project! So by your contributions, you too can be part of making a difference for ranchers and farmers across the US! And while financial support is amazing, your support for the project and these families is what is needed most!

Thank you for reading! I cannot wait to share this project with you all!
