Andrew Zieman was a beloved and dedicated educator at Sherman Elementary School in San Francisco, California. Thousands of children and families benefited from his patience, kindness, wit, joy, and wisdom. We were all devastated when he was killed in a tragic, and preventable car accident while walking back to school on the morning of November 10, 2021. Andrew was an integral part of Sherman's team of educators, working to support individual students in the classroom and had also worked for years at Sharks Until Dark. Sharks Until Dark was Andrew's community. Andrew attended Sherman Elementary School as a child, as did his father and other family members. His connection to Sherman ran deep, as does our love for him. Any donation to The Andrew Zieman Memorial Fund will help make an impact.
We are now raising money in his honor to benefit Sherman Elementary School students, and any donation will help make an impact. We will use any funds raised to support student activities, primarily in our after school program. Thank you in advance for your contribution which will help us ensure Andrew's memory lives on in providing funding for activities that will benefit Sherman students for years to come. Please also feel free to share this link with friends, family and the local community.
