Support the Anchor Staff during restaurant repairs

Hi everyone. My name is Sheryl Cangemi-Knopf and my family owns The Anchor Restaurant in Flagler Beach Florida. Unfortunately, we have only been able to be open for a few days since the first week of October, due to Hurricane Milton & already needing a new roof. Our roof is currently being replaced right now, and taking much longer than expected. To be clear, we own the business, not the building, therefore, major repairs are handled by the landlord, on the landlords time. With that being said, our staff has been out of work for a majority of the month, and we are expecting at least another week until the roof is complete. What we thought would be a few days of being closed has turned into weeks. This has been devastating to our family, our business and most importantly our beloved staff who rely on the income they make at The Anchor. This GoFundMe is to raise money for our staff at The Anchor, to support the loss of income they have experienced over these last few weeks. Our goal amount to raise is what a typical two week payroll for our staff would be.
