The always giving Jim Shisler, needs our help!

Hi, my name is Giorgios and I am reaching out to our community to request financial assistance for a very prideful to ask kind of guy, Jim Shisler. As you may already know, Jim is a beloved server with Galveston Steakhouse in Michigan City, IN for over the last 20 years who has lovingly served so many families who have dined there and befriended so many of us who have worked with him. He has been so gracious and generous over the years, from either hosting people when they were down on their luck in his own home or lending money to his friends in the time of need always without question and always prideful to ask when he is, in need. Personally, he has had my back for the better of the last 17 years. He understands that these are all challenging times for everyone and he is also now facing the challenging times for medical reasons himself. Even during the early stages of the pandemic, Jim continued to work and very rarely has requested time off, oftentimes working several months in a row without a day off. Unfortunately, now the time has come for Jim to have a medical procedure as he has been experiencing physical and internal pain for several years now, all while toughing it out since most service industry staff can't afford financially not to. While being forced to rest at home since he was experiencing severe physical pain and awaiting an angiogram for a heart condition, he contracted Covid and has not worked in the last 2 weeks. Consequently, his procedure has now been pushed back for an undetermined timeline and is unsure when he will physically be able to return to work. Jim is not one to ask for help or even not pay his living expenses, he has always supported himself. He is afraid for his health and well-being, in addition to not being able to pay rent, food for him and his little fur-baby Jackson since there is no defined time on when he will be able to return to his duty at his second home, Galveston. Therefore, I am kindly asking if you can stand up with me and help support one of our own!
