Facing unexpected health challenges is life changing. In addition to heartache, devastation, and life-altering changes, it brings unexpected financial needs. Hugo and his family will need time away from work to focus on healing and wellness. His work family wants to be able to support the family in any way possible and ask that Hugo's friends, family, and RUHS colleagues consider contributing to the family's needs.

For those of us that know Hugo, know a man that is a committed family man, puts his family first, is kind, funny, and one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. His absence from work leaves a void in our hearts and our days. Given how the RUHS team is feeling this loss, it is unimaginable how painful this journey is for him, his family, and those closest to him.

We all need to come together to care for one another when someone is in need. It's how we demonstrate love and caring for those that make up our communities, whether that community is work, family, or neighbors. Let's take care of the Alvarez family.
