In Loving Memory of Albert Knutson

July 31, 1946 – June 30, 2025

Many of you have asked how to support Sharon Knutson following the passing of her beloved husband of 30 years, Al. In response, we’ve created the Albert Knutson Memorial Fund to honor his life and legacy.

For the past 25 years, javelinas, deer, hawks, crows, sparrows, doves, quail, a roadrunner, the occasional peacock, and even stray cats have all shared the pond Al lovingly built in the heart of the Sonoran Desert near Queen Valley, Arizona. A lifelong animal lover, Al found deep joy in tending to the wildlife habitat that surrounded their home.

Your generous contributions will help Sharon continue this work: maintaining the pond, feeding the animals, and caring for the land Al so deeply cherished. Funds will also go toward providing goods and services for Sharon, who lives in a remote location and does not drive. Your support will ensure that she remains safe, comfortable, and connected in this new chapter of her life.
