Show Heart for the Airharts

Hi,

This GoFundMe has been set up in support of our dear friends Kim, Chris, Hayes, Kate, Carter, Harrison & Holden Airhart.

My husband & I have the good fortune to be in a community group with Kim and Chris Airhart who have enriched our lives immensely over the past few years. Kim started a journey she would have never chosen in February 2020 when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The year of COVID was more challenging than most of us could have imagined for the Airhart family that includes 5 children who were ages 2 to 10 at the time. They moved from Mississippi to Georgia, Kim underwent an extensive, invasive surgery, they experienced a flood in their home, and she successfully went through treatment that year to eventually allow her to be cancer free.

After 3 & 1/2 years of being cancer-free, Kim recently found out that her cancer has returned. She's re-starting chemo on March 11th. She's doing whatever she can to be aggressive in fighting this cancer - including traveling to MD Anderson in Texas to consult with providers there about her treatment.

Kim has made it her personal mission since 2021 to bring awareness to support early detection and offer support to others who fight this terrible disease - through the organization that she founded - Harts of Teal. Visit HartsofTeal.org to learn more.

Given the impact that Kim and the Airhart family have had on our whole community and beyond, there are many who want to offer support and are not sure how.
