Hi everyone!
In August my soon to be father in law had a very serious, life threatening accident at work that left him in critical condition in hospital for weeks! The doctors were unsure if he would be able to survive the sheer amount of trauma his body had taken in this accident. Luckily 7 weeks later he is now coming out the other side and is no longer in critical care! 100% the incredible work the critical care nurses and doctors did is what kept him alive for him to keep fighting! How ever had the quick reaction of the air ambulance service not been there to get him to hospital so quickly this would have been a very different story and is 100% what saved his life! Its still a long road of recovery but its given my fiancé a chance to walk down the aisle with her dad on our wedding day which I’m sure is every girls dream on their big day!
This is just one life out of tens of THOUSANDS of lives the air ambulance service has saved! The air ambulance service is not funded by the NHS and entirely relies on donations so they can continue saving lives each and everyday!
I would love to do my part in keeping this life saving service going and help more peoples loved ones be saved!
So on the 1st of November I will be swimming one of the lakes in the lake district (still trying to work out the best one to do where it is safe during the very cold November waters!)
Then on the 6th of November I will start the 3 highest peaks in the UK starting with Ben Nevis and Scafel Pike on the 6th of November, followed by Snowdon on the 7th of November. I know most people do the 3 peak challenge in 24 hours but I will be doing the climbs and the drives solo, so to make sure I am safe to drive I will be doing it over 2 days!
I would really appreciate any donations to help reach my goal and do my part to help keep this life saving service going!
Thank you for your time and thank you for any donations!
