The aftermath of an apartment fire

Donation protected
Saturday morning, December 12, a building at Ridgewood Apartments in Kentwood caught on fire. Our son Logan Holtkamp and Alaina Stankowski were asleep in the apartment next to where the fire originated. Logan & Alaina and their neighbors were able to get out of the building safely. Due to the high winds, the fire quickly engulfed the building and it ended up a total loss including personal possessions. It was a terrifying situation. We sincerely believe they were spared and we continue to thank Jesus for their lives. We do know that 3 firefighters were injured fighting the fire. Our prayers are with these brave firefighters and their families.

Neither Logan or Alaina asked us to create this page. We have done so because a number of friends have expressed a desire to help. We are humbled and grateful that there are people who care enough to want to help them move past this traumatic experience and help them start to rebuild.

We invite you to pray, discern and give as the Lord leads you. 100% of any proceeds will go directly to Logan & Alaina.
