WELCOME TO THE AFGHAN CHAIN OF FAVOURS CAMPAIGN
Three Afghan women and a child who fled Afghanistan escaping the Taliban need your help. They are in a refugee camp waiting to find a country to make their next home in Europe or North America. Their families are still waiting to be evacuated from Afghanistan. We cannot reveal their identities to ensure their and their family’s safety, until they reach a safe destination.
Thirty more vulnerable Afghans, including women’s rights activists, extremely vulnerable groups and their families, are waiting to be evacuated. Everything is lined up but we need funds to pay for visas and passage across borders and to be accepted into a host country. While all this is getting organized, they remain in hiding.
We are a network of individuals supported by Casa Nostra Casa Vostra who came together to help the initial purpose of Patricia Franquesa in helping her Afghan friends. This is the story of how friends and strangers came together and their personal action created a direct impact in Afghan women’s lives. Your action can have a real impact too!

It all started during a trip to Afghanistan in 2016, where I met incredible women who spend their entire lives working for women’s rights. They love their country and want to achieve a better future for their communities.
After their Government changed this past August, my Afghan friends’ lives were at risk from the Taliban. They asked me for help, but I had no idea how to do so.
I started reaching out to organizations and friends and we created a network of people helping each other. We named it "The Afghan Chain of Favours”. Finally, we got to organizations who could actually evacuate people from the country, but could only do so much. The rest was up to us. This is why this funding campaign was created.
By following the chain, we support Afghan women in getting a safer future so they can keep empowering their communities for a brighter destiny.
During these weeks I understood the power we have if we work together and help each other.
We continue to work with Casa Nostra Casa Vostra, International Human Rights Organizations, refugee lawyers, and other volunteers to evacuate their families and loved ones and facilitate a reunion in the near future.
