I am adopted.

I enjoyed a very happy childhood with loving and supportive adoptive parents but as time went on, I became increasingly interested in the mystery of my origin.
I found myself searching for my birth parents in the faces of passing strangers and wondered what i shared in their appearance and behavior.

In my early 20’s, I was compelled to seek out my birth parents and put these questions to bed once and for all.
As part of a closed adoption, my journey to reunion was paved with numerous obstacles and acts of divine intervention but I eventually found my birthmother when I was 22.

I have always been fascinated and intrigued with the world of adoption and about two years ago, i began photographing adoptees that are in reunion, meaning they have successfully searched for and found their biological roots.

The results of this photo project have been very impactful and the process began taking a life of it’s own, growing into a full blown documentary. 
This trek of discovery aims to raise important questions about the human condition, who we are, the power of love and what it means to be family.

We are now at a point where we need to finish editing the ’pitch reel’ -
a 5 minute teaser that will be used to get investors for the funding of the feature length documentary and we need your YOUR help to get it done asap !!


This project is near and very dear to my heart and i would love to see it manifest in the world.
