The Acuna family, 9 members strong, hard working, god loving, have been struck by tradegy these past 6 months. First by Rick losing his father at an early age due to illness, then his fathers closest friend, who was like a father to him as well. Despite this, Rick has tried to continue to provide for his family spending countless hours commuting, long work days, and in that time Kristy trusting her older children with the younger ones, has started working as well. Just hoping to one day get ahead. Last week on Tuesday, Rick fell ill, and remains hospitalized with surgery on the horizon and his 7 children and wife by his side, I decided this is a time that "Go Fund Me" was made for. The Acunas would never ask for anything , even when they have nothing to give you would never know it, and if you called they would come running. Prior to Ricks illness, they lost one of their two cars to an accident, they were trying to catch up on rent as Rick took time off to bury his Father in Texas and had no sick time to begin with.
