The last time I abseiled was back in 1995 during Army Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina—a moment that tested my limits and taught me resilience. Now, I’m preparing to take on a very different kind of descent: 300 feet down the iconic Richard Rogers-designed “Inside Out” Lloyd’s of London building.
This isn’t just about facing fears—it’s about raising £30,000 for two incredible causes:
The Upholders’ Charity Bob Fowlds’ Bursary Fund – helping upholstery students overcome financial hardship during their training.
Fine Cell Work – a charity that teaches embroidery and stitching to people in prison, improving mental health and opening doors to employment after release.
When: 11am, Thursday 10th July 2025
Where: Lloyd’s of London, Richard Rogers’ Inside-Out Building
I’m deliberately reaching out to my wider network to help make this mission a success. Your donation—big or small—will make a real difference. Please consider giving, sharing this page, or simply spreading the word.
Thank you in advance for being part of this journey with me!
