As a community, we come together to keep it safe. It is everyone’s worst nightmare to have a loved one and family member get hurt. On February 20th, 2019 in Bradford, Ontario, my dad took Abby for a walk like any other day to get the mail. As he was checking the mail, Abby was attacked by 2 large dogs. This attack resulted in Abby having two broken ribs, multiple lacerations, puncture wounds, and a right hind leg amputation. My dad was also bitten during the attack in an attempt to stop the dogs from ripping Abby apart.

Due to improper care and attention by a dog owner on our street, our family will be forever affected. His dogs have a history of violence, and this attack is currently under investigation.

My name is Britney Whiteside. I am the daughter of Michael whiteside, and I am asking for help for my parents and Abby. This attack has affected them physically, emotionally, and financially. If you are able, please donate what you can to help them through this difficult time. I am raising these funds to aid in the payment of Abby's vet bills and ongoing care. All proceeds will go directly to Michael Whiteside and Jennifer Fellowes. Abby's vet bills have totaled over $7500, and the dog owner at fault is unwilling to help. If there is any reimbursement through legal proceedings, my parents will re-donate funds raised to an animal charity.

I cant tell you have much I appreciate you reading this message. Please share this with your friends and family. Thank you so much for your support.
