I'm raising money in aid of the North West Air Ambulance Promotions Limited and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.
On the 18th of June 2025 myself, my family and friends will be participating in the National 3 Peaks Challenge. This challenge consists of walking up the three highest peaks in the UK, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdonia) in 24 hours in aid of the North West Air Ambulance.
On the 22nd of July 2024, my boyfriend Roan was in a serious car accident on the A590 by Newby Bridge heading into Ulverston, breaking both of his femurs. It was the quick-acting North West Air Ambulance who got to Roan and saved his life and his legs. The team of air ambulance paramedics gave Roan a blood transfusion and kept him stable until they arrived at the intensive care unit at Preston Hospital. The air ambulance crew along with paramedics and doctors are the only reason Roan is still with us today, without the air ambulance crew doing their job so well he would not have lived long enough for the doctors to save him.
After 7 weeks in Preston Hospital and 10 weeks in Leighton Hospital, Roan is now home and walking, and we are hoping for a full recovery! We want to thank everyone who cared for Roan, nurses, surgeons, physios, consultants, and the air ambulance team, if it weren't for you and your care, Roan wouldn't be with us today.
I hope whatever we can raise will make a difference to the charity as they do not get any NHS or government funding and solely run their missions off kind donations.
Thank you for visiting my page and any donations will be greatly appreciated for such an important cause.
