Four years ago, we lost my nephew Archie to a brain tumour. His incredible legacy lives on through Archie’s Caravan, a charity providing completely free holidays for children with cancer and their families.
Archie’s caravan is a 100% volunteer run charity, managed by Archie’s Mum and Dad alongside four trustees who all knew and loved him. This unique structure ensures that every penny raised goes directly to these deserving families, offering them the chance to make precious memories by the sea at the beautiful holiday home in Reighton Sands, Filey.
What started with money raised for his own treatment has grown into an escape for families facing the toughest times imaginable.
This April, I’m taking on a massive challenge to raise funds, cycling 242 miles to London and then running the London Marathon. I’ll be setting off on Thursday 23rd April and aiming to complete the ride in 2 days, just in time to run the marathon on the Sunday.
Any donations or shares would be hugely appreciated, thank you in advance for the support.
