Hello,

My name is Lisa Moncur and I am the Gold Star Mother of Sgt John Barcellano, United States Army. After John was killed in 2017, I dedicated myself to honoring his legacy of service and sacrifice.

Each year, I request donations to fund memorial scholarships at John's high school, Paloma Valley High School. John was a musician and a photographer, so the money goes to fund one $500 scholarship for a senior in Marching Band, one $500 scholarship for a senior in Digital Arts, and one $500 award for a cadet in NJROTC. So far, I've only raised $390 of the $1500 necessary. I humbly ask for your support to fully fund the 2026 Sgt John Barcellano Memorial Scholarships at Paloma Valley High School. Thank you!
