In the summer of 2025, I endeavored to travel across Canada over the course of 53 days. My hope was to turn the journey into a book that looked at the history of Canada and contemporary Canada.

I was going to visit many historical sites and interview Canadians across the country.

Unfortunately, it began to cost a lot more than I anticipated.

After 6,000 kilometres, I had to end my trip. I covered large parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

In 2026, my goal is to spend several months on the road with my dog Berton so I can visit everything between the Pacific, Atlantic and hopefully even the Arctic Oceans.

I have started this fundraiser to help pay for part of that tour.
