The 2025 Kangaroo Valley Expedition Ride!

This challenging and exciting event is dedicated to supporting the equestrian competitions at the Kangaroo Valley Show as the community continues to recover from the impacts of bushfires, floods, landslides, and road closures.

Kangaroo Valley Horses and our supporters are committed to bringing riders and their horses back over the mountain to participate in this cherished family show, reigniting the spirit of competition and encouraging horse and rider combinations to return to the Showgrounds—preserving 139 years of history with horses competing at the show.

We invite you to sponsor the intrepid horses and riders as they embark on an exhilarating 3-day trek. They’ll ride through wild creeks, sweeping farmlands, and the rugged peaks of Mount Scanzi, ultimately reaching the breathtaking heart of Kangaroo Valley, NSW!

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the Kangaroo Valley A&H Show Society, helping to support and enhance the equestrian events at the 139th Kangaroo Valley Show, set for February 13 & 14, 2026.

Join us for an unforgettable experience in Kangaroo Valley!

• September 28th, 2025: Come and cheer on the horses and riders as they parade through Main Road, Kangaroo Valley at approximately 2:30 to 3.00PM.

• September 29th, 2025: At sunset (around 6:00 PM), head to the Kangaroo Valley Showgrounds to witness our breathtaking ride-out as we decorate the horses with luminous breastplates, lighting up the evening as night falls!

• September 30th, 2025: Cheer on the horses & riders returning home from the KV Showgrounds, via Main Road, Kangaroo Valley, towards Mt. Scanzi at 10:00 AM.
