The Jamaica Plain Music Festival returns this September!

Since 2011, The JPMF has featured the best bands the area has to offer. We're back again on Sep 6th with 20 bands on 2 stages for FREE.

Join us as we transform Pinebank Field at the pond for a full day of live music, kids activities, and the best food trucks in the city.

A free festival is very expensive, and we are able to hold this event year after year thanks to the generosity of our neighbors and local businesses. We are a totally volunteer run, 501(c)3 organization. All donations go to putting on the event.

All funds go directly to -

- Paying each artist, band, group, ensemble, choir, quartet or orchestra that plays the festival. Without them this wouldn’t exist!!

- The top of the line stages and sound system. With the best sound crew around. 

- A full backline of instruments and amps for both stages. To make the transitions between bands as smooth as possible. 

- Print programs, flyers, media, advertising. 

- Permits, licenses, and inspections. 

- Most importantly - Port-a-potties!!!
