Hello. I'm Phil and I've known Brian since the 90s when we met while attending university in Moorhead, MN. I can't think of a nicer human being than Brian. When I had a bad bout of covid he was the first to show up with gifts, some cash and a hug. You won't find a nicer person than Brian. So it's our turn to return some of that love and help him get back to normal.

Over the Easter weekend Brian managed to not injure one leg but both legs! If you know Brian at all you'll know that his big loving heart felt bad one leg was hurting and didn't feel it was fair to the other. Or not, more likely he was attempting Easter Parkour and... we're not young any longer. NO MORE PARKOUR BRIAN!!!

Brian had to have surgery on both knees this past week and will be out of commission for at least four months. This means he will be unable to work and is going to need our help to get him through this.

I'm setting the goal at $12,000 which should (by Brian's estimates) be enough to cover bills, rent, car insurance and payments and any medical expenses not covered by insurance. I rounded it up a little because he's also going to need some new books, streaming subscriptions and other things to keep him entertained while laying down for so long.

He is 100% out of commission for a month. After that he will start the slow road to normalcy with a minimum of 3 months of rehab while slowly being allowed to use his legs.

So please give what you can and when he's all better we can all meet at the park and teach him new parkour moves!
