Dante Erk is a 12 year old who just learned he has to battle brain cancer for the third time in his short life. He found out yesterday he will be having a craniotomy on May 11th to collect a sample of the tissue in order to diagnose  the rapidly growing tumor in his frontal lobe. Through all of the doctor visits, mental struggles and physical pain Dante remains strong. Yesterday after receiving the news Dante said, "I have to do whatever I can to survive... even if I die trying." The words of a true fighter.

Unfortunately, Dante's body is weak from his constant, life-long battle with this disease.  These times will be trying for Dante and his family.  Hours of driving, numerous doctors, chemotherapy or radiation after surgery...  His parent's lives will be consumed and they will be unable to work.  While insurance covers the mojority of doctors bills, the family will still need money to pay bills and care for their other two small children, Gabe and Julia.
