Maui Fire Victims

My name is Corinne. I’m proud to say that I am from the island of Maui, but relocated to California in late 2017. Lahaina was my home for years, and I can’t even begin to describe the destruction and trauma that the local residents are facing. This fire is now considered the deadliest fire in US history within the last century. They need help!!!!!!

Many friends and hanai family members have recently lost EVERYTHING in the 8/9 Maui fires. Being so far away from home during this time is heart wrenching to say the least.

We can help by donating money for those that are in dire need of basic supplies. I’m going to collect funds to give directly to families that have lost everything, including their ability to bring in an income for their families. These families were left with basically the clothes they escaped in. The charity money being raised is wonderful, however, it could take months for those funds to reach the victims of this horrendous tragedy!
