No Greater Love. . .DJ McClintock

“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

You can tell from his smile, which his classmates voted best, that Darrian “DJ” McClintock had a zeal for life and a loving soul.  He touched so many lives and his love for Christ, family, and friends always inspired others.  As a freshman student athlete at ETBU, DJ had a bright future ahead of him in the classroom and on the football field.   He had an aptitude for engineering and "Hands" destined for the pros.

On April 28th at the age of 18, DJ passed on after saving the life of another.  He risked his life selflessly to help someone else in distress.  Knowing he spent his last months enjoying life and sharing the gospel to help others is a comfort. We don’t always understand God’s plan but DJ was called upon to be with Him and we now have a guardian angel watching over us.  As DJ would say, “Stop crying, and move forward.”  

The family is so very thankful for the continued outpour of thoughts, prayers, calls, and messages.  The devastation of losing a child can be quite a lot to bear. This memorial fund will help provide financial support for the family during this difficult time.  Thanks again for your kindness, encouragement, and support.
