We are hosting our Annual Thanksgiving Day Holiday Orphan meal November 22th at Jarvis Hall 4505 N. Ocean Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308 at 11 am and also at multiple locations simultaneously throughout south Florida.
Our mission for hosting this event is to bring everyone together in unity and allowing love, care, and tranquility to shine brightly through each individual's pain, longsuffering, and heartache. Our goal is to let our light shine effortlessly on Thanksgiving Day!
Have you ever awakened on a Thanksgiving morning, and looked in the mirror and thought to yourself, "Where do I go and what do I do during the holiday season?" Many Americans in the United States face hardships of not being able to spend time with family and friends during the holiday seasons due to experiencing travesties on this walk called life. According to The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), nearly three- fourths of participants reported feeling more anxious or depressed during the holiday season. Factors may include social isolation, losing a loved one or maybe not having anyone to spend quality time with, such as family and friends.
All donations will be used strictly for the event to feed thousands of people who are isolated and lonely. For Example, Single parents, the elderly, veterans, new residents and for people who don't have extended families. Unfortunately, there are people who cannot prepare their own food for physical reasons. At least once a year for Thanksgiving they can have a decent meal. This will mean so much to us because Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we are desperately in need for donations to help these people who may have their only home cook meal for the entire year.
