A Surprise for Sid: Thanking Our Dedicated Guild Leader
For over eight years, Sid has been the heart and soul of our SWTOR guild. As our fearless leader, he has dedicated countless hours of his time and energy as a volunteer, providing a home and a fun raiding experience for hundreds of people. His commitment and passion for the game and our community are truly unmatched.
Now, on behalf of the full ADG Dark Council, we have a secret mission to show him just how much we appreciate him.
Many of you know that Sid's current gaming PC is ancient. It's reached the point where many boss fights are virtually unplayable for him, which severely impacts his experience in the game he loves so much. As a university student in Serbia, he has to prioritize his funds for his education, and unfortunately, a much-needed PC upgrade has been out of reach for a long time.
We believe it's time to give back to the person who has given us so much. This GoFundMe campaign is a secret effort to raise money to buy Sid a brand new PC. This isn't just about a computer; it's about saying "thank you" for all the time he has invested and for providing the platform where we've all made so many memories.
We ask you to join us in this surprise show of appreciation. Because we want to surprise him, it is absolutely critical that this remains a secret.
The incoming donations will be gathered by Ferdi, and will be used to buy the PC parts in Serbia. Jade (Dark Council member) has family in Serbia who has generously offered to help with the logistics. We have also reached out to trusted IT experts in Serbia who are willing to lend their expertise in the Serbian hardware market. Once the PC is ready, we will work with Nik, a real-life friend of Sid's, to get the parts or the fully assembled PC directly to his doorstep.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help us reach our goal and make sure Sid can continue to lead us into battle with a smooth and fun gaming experience.
Thank you for being part of this special project for our amazing guild leader.
