Sadly, Oma is one of of the thousands who lost their homes in the Camp Fire last week. While her house is gone, she is safe--and for that we are so thankful! Represented by the windmill still standing strong in front of the ashes, Oma's Dutch "grit" will give her the strength to carry through this tough time. Grit, however, doesn't give her underwear. Many of you have asked how you can help Oma in this tough time, so I've created this GoFundMe for her. Any little bit helps, but even beyond financial contributions, I know she just appreciates the love and support from everyone. Next week, the week of Thanksgiving, my goal is for Oma to see how truly thankful we are for her! So donate if you can, stop by for a visit (she's staying at Fred and Willy's), take her out for lunch or a walk (#ducktrot), join us at Swirls, or just send some positive thoughts into the universe on her behalf. We will be ever so thankful for you :)
