Thank you to Gary our Postman who is leaving Benhall

Hi. My name is Jackie Harris and I am a Benhall resident. I've lived here for nearly 11 years.

In that time Gary Dunn, our Postman, has been a consistent part of life on our estate. I have never known him to be anything other than friendly, cheerful and reliable. He is always there with a smile and a wave.

Gary has been working the "Benhall round" for more than 20 years. It's a LONG round (starting in Libertus Road). Gary has started to feel the effects of the long daily round and the growing weight of parcels and letters.

And so, his last Benhall round will be on 11 January. He will then move to a shorter, rural round to ease him into retirement. He told me "It's either that, or a hip replacement!"

I hope you will join me in wanting to give our Postie a really good Benhall send-off.
