Thank you to Cavan Childrens Ward

A little story about the reason this page has been set up.... Back in June of this year I decided after completing Hell & Back, I was going to take on the challenge of the Dublin City Marathon for my own personal achievements.
However as most people who know me, are aware  my Daughter Niamh, aged 6 had been battling "DIPG" a brain tumour from 2013. And sadly My Beautiful Little Lady lost her battle this August " but let me tell you, not without a fight". At this point I made the decision not to do the marthon.  But with some friends coaxing, I have been encouraged to take this on in memory of Niamh and help raise some money for The Childrens Ward in Cavan General Hospital, as this was the place that took extra special care of Niamh in her final days. Niamh loved Cavan Hospital, as it was her home from home, and Niamh talked so much about the staff and the ward.  so to give a little something back to this ward for all they have done for Niamh & us as a family.  I have decided to do the marathon.
I wish to thank everyone in advance for any donations, support and words of encouragement.
