GMCLA Brothers,

While I'd been away in Florida for my mother's illness and her eventual passing, I missed you all very much. To take my mind off of my family's grieving, I attended a rehearsal of the Southwest Florida Gay and Lesbian Chorus, a little GALA Chorus that is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. They welcomed me into their rehearsal and I made music with 20 strangers who quickly became brothers and sisters. We sang songs you and I know like "True Colors" and "Make them Hear You."  After my mother's passing (and my father's just a few months ago), many of you have graciously asked, "Nick, is there anything I can do for you?" Well, there is. It would warm my heart tremendously if you would make a contribution to this little chorus with a big heart in conservative Southwest Florida. They welcomed me as a brother at a time when I was grieving. Much love to you all.
