Cuando yo era un niño, en mi barrio nació una esperanza. Dos entrenadores, Dagoberto Lara y Girinardo Conde, iniciaron un proyecto humilde pero poderoso: Atletas de Manglar . Con nada más que pasión, disciplina y un corazón enorme, lograron sacar a muchos jóvenes —incluyéndome a mí— de las calles, ofreciéndonos una oportunidad a través del deporte.

Ese pequeño sueño se convirtió en un refugio para decenas de niños que encontraron en el fútbol una motivación, una familia y un propósito. Gracias a ellos, muchos de nosotros descubrimos un camino diferente, lejos de los problemas y cerca de un futuro mejor.

Hoy, quiero reconstruir ese proyecto , pero necesita ayuda. Las condiciones son muy difíciles y los recursos casi inexistentes. Por eso estoy creando esta campaña: para apoyar a quienes en realidad necesitan ayuda los niños

When I was a child, a spark of hope was born in my neighborhood. Two passionate coaches, Dagoberto Lara and Girinardo Conde, started a humble yet powerful project called Atletas de Manglar. With nothing but heart, discipline, and a dream, they helped pull many young kids —including myself— away from the streets and gave us a real opportunity through sports.

What began as a small idea became a refuge. For many children, it was the only safe place where they felt motivated, supported, and part of a family. There, we found a purpose, a reason to keep pushing forward, and a path that led us away from trouble and toward a better future.

Today, I want to rebuild the project that shaped my life, but I can’t do it alone. The kids who are part of this program face extremely tough conditions, and resources are almost nonexistent. That’s why I’m creating this GoFundMe campaign: to support the children who need it most and to give them the same chance that once changed my life.
