Hello friends and family,

Please, please consider supporting our Bret as he fights this very unexpected and challenging fight. Bret was dropping off the kids at school when suddenly the pain in his leg was too great to ignore. He drove directly to an urgent care where they immediately sent him via an ambulance to the hospital. Bret was diagnosed with a severe streptococcus bacterial infection that has sent him into toxic shock. He has been placed in a medically induced coma where the doctors are doing everything possible to get him stable. He will need surgery as soon as his body is strong enough. Bret has shown improvement today and the doctors have been able to lower doses and even stop several of the medications that were previously necessary. His wife Leah has been by his side since this harrowing experience started.

Bret and Leah have three amazing and talented children; Oskar is 10 and the best big brother to his twin sisters Violet and Scarlet, ages 5.
