For years, when someone's vehicle was stolen in Anchorage, there was one name that brought hope: Floyd Hall.

While most of us were sleeping or going about our daily lives, Floyd was solving big problems and helping strangers. You know him for answering frantic phone calls, following leads, and helping families recover what many thought was lost forever.

His dedication has reunited countless Alaskans with their cars, trucks, trailers, and priceless belongings. He has volunteered thousands of hours, often putting himself at personal risk, simply because he believes that helping others is the right thing to do.

Floyd never asked for recognition. He never expected anything in return.

In addition to serving our community, Floyd devoted himself to caring for his father through the final chapter of his father's life. Being a full-time caregiver is one of the greatest acts of love a person can give, and Floyd gave that gift without hesitation.

Now, after his father's passing, Floyd finds himself facing a challenge of his own.

It's our turn to help him.

Our goal is to raise $300,000 to purchase Floyd a modest townhome—a safe, stable place he can finally call his own after spending years putting the needs of everyone else ahead of his own.
