David and Brad went above and beyond to host a truly impressive and artfully curated party for our neighborhood. Their generosity and attention to detail made the event memorable for everyone who attended, and it was clear how much time, effort, and resources they put into making it special. All of us left the party feeling grateful for their hospitality and the sense of community they helped create.

After the event, several neighbors talked about how they could show their appreciation and asked me to communicate this out to the neighbors. We know that David and Brad covered significant costs out of their own pockets, not to mention all the work involved. While they never expected anything in return, the consensus among several people was that we wanted to pitch in and help defray the costs as a token of gratitude. Please be clear that David and Brad are not asking for this, but others at the party want to thank them and make sure that they are ready to continue to host this exceptional event.

All contributions will go directly, and only, to David and Brad to help cover the expenses from this year’s party, and hopefully encourage them to host again next year (and maybe every year!). Julie and I are making a generous contribution, and if you feel inclined, please join us in supporting David and Brad as a thank you for their hard work and generosity. It is my intention that all contributions will be private, and there is no pressure on anyone. I believe that the contributions can be marked by you as either anonymous or publicly visible. The Goal is to cover as much of the cost as possible. The visible goal on the contribution page is GoFundMe's "automated goal", so it will start out low and increase as we approach full funding.
