Christina Thank you and Support

As volunteers and friends of the Novato Baylands Stewards, we wish to honor and show appreciation to our Director Christina McWhorter for her leadership, inspiration, support, and love over the years. As you may know, Christina was diagnosed with a chronic illness known as Myalgic encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) in Fall 2019. This little understood condition has now manifested into symptoms that no longer allow Christina to work. There is no known cure for this disease. Christina has had to resign from her position as Executive Director at Novato Baylands Stewards, the organization Christina founded to manage and maintain the Hamilton Wetlands and Bel Marin Keys restoration sites. We are all heartbroken at this development. During these trying
times of health challenges, we wish to assist and help her on this journey.
Any support you can provide is appreciated beyond measure--thank you.
