Hey friends of Etheria! This is a GoFundMe for the owner of Etheria Cafe, Melanie Hoekstra. As you probably know, she announced in early March that she'll be closing on May 4th. (Read her statement on this here .) Melanie has never taken a salary and, in fact, has gone tens of thousands of dollars into debt in order to keep Etheria Cafe open long enough to begin making money. Sadly, that time never came. This is a fundraiser to thank Melanie for her incredible work and dedication to our community, and to help recover some of the money she lost in her unpaid, tireless efforts.
