Thanh Mai (they/them) pictured on the right; is a mental health counselor for queer, trans, and non-binary youth in substance recovery. They are also a Native plant herbalist and provide free, healing mutual aid (teas, tinctures, plant workshops) to communities in south LA, focusing on supporting houseless, Black and Indigenous, queer and trans, and mother-centered spaces.

They have been in the process of applying for + securing top surgery for 7 years (!!) and the time is finally here! Operation costs will be covered by their savings + insurance, and we are raising funds to pay for caretaking and healing materials. This includes pain medication, tinctures, scar wrappings, ointments, and food. Thanh will be paying a community member to provide nursing support during their recovery process.
