I am boldly asking for help for my brother in law  & his wife. The most humble, loving, caring, Godly people I know....Tim and Kim were married on September 26, 1996. They tried for many years to have a baby. After 14 yrs., the opportunity came to adopt a little girl. In the midst of that process Kim became pregnant with their son. Unfortunately the dreams they had of a happy life with their  little family (4 yr old daughter and 2 yr old son) were interrupted by cancer. Tim had been losing weight for several months but no one was concerned. After all, the doctors pointed out he did need to lose weight. No one was even suspicious when he became diabetic. In the spring of 2014, Tim began to have pain in his left side under his ribcage. It gradually became worse. He was no longer able to play with his kids on the floor or even have them sit on his lap because the slightest touch was excruciating. He scheduled an appointment with another doctor and they immediately ordered an ultrasound. Needing more answers, they scheduled a CT scan where they indeed found a tumor. They met with a surgeon who did a biopsy and confirmed it to be pancreatic cancer. It is inoperable unless it shrinks. And pancreatic tumors generally do not shrink. He did 2 rounds of the most aggressive chemo with the hopes of it shrinking all while trying to hold down a job to continue to provide for his family. The surgeon at Vanderbilt in Nashville TN seemed to have a brighter outlook on things. With the fact that Tim is so young he was hopeful of being able to eventually do surgery. The rounds of chemo really took a toll on Tim and he decided that quality was better than quantity and so he stopped the chemo and now are trying alternative methods to combat the cancer. We remain hopeful that Tim can win this battle. Through Christ ALL  things are possible. Our faith in God will see us through. As the medical bills rise and insurance not covering, they need your help..... Thank you. " but those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
