Early Friday morning, my Aunt Shannon awoke to the sound of her fire alarm and discovered that her house had caught fire. Thankfully, she got up just in time; running through the flames, she was able to get out of the house with her dogs. Unfortunately, she and my cousin, Caidey (who fortunately wasn’t in the house that evening) lost everything in the blaze — clothing, photographs, medicines, etc…next to nothing was able to be salvaged. I’ve put together this GoFundMe to ask our family, friends, and the community to please consider helping Shannon and Caidey rebuild their lives after this tragedy. Shannon has been disabled and unable to work for several years, and Caidey just moved from Colorado to Ohio a few short months ago — both of them could really use your support in getting back on their feet.
