After being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma on 3rd April I haveXbeen through an absolute whirl wind of aggressive treatment and have been unable to do a lot of things I may have had the opportunity to do if the cancer where less aggressive.
Yesterday I was informed that it is still possible for me to donate my hair to The Little Princess Foundation as it has lasted better than expected and it is long enough and healthy.
This made me so happy I cried a little. I am not a crier.
The Little Princess Foundation takes donations of human hair and provides FREE wigs to children in the uk and ireland who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment. A very worthy cause.
I want to do the chop quickly so that I can give as much hair to this wonderful organisation. So on Tuesday 5th of may I will firstly cut off my piggy tails for the Little Princesses and then shave my head. Gulp.
If you would wish to support me then please feel free to make a donation. With money, not hair ;)
