Help Us Care for a Feral Cat Family
I don’t love asking for help, but here we are. Over the past year, we've quietly spent a lot of our own funds helping rescue and care for cats in Atlantic City. Right now, I have a sweet little cat family in my garage that needs more support than I can manage alone.
The mom was born last summer on Tennessee Avenue and was never able to get fixed. She had kittens, and now I’m caring for her and her two babies. They've been fighting off infections and upper respiratory issues. I’ve been treating them with antibiotics, but one kitten has a very cloudy, possibly damaged eye, and I’m taking them to the vet today. I couldn’t get an appointment at the Humane Society, so I’m unsure what the cost will be—but vet care, food, litter, and eventual spay/neuter adds up fast. We also have Linus from Tennessee Ave in our garage and he needs extensive dental cleaning and extraction.
Thank you so much for your love and support!!
The kittens will be ready for forever homes soon, but mama cat is likely to return outdoors after being fixed—though she’s warming up and even lets me pet her now.
If you can help, even a small amount means so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
