On April 15th, my dear friend Austin (also known as Drew) who is a U.S. Marine currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, got into a horrific motorcycle accident right down the road that was not his fault. I called his family right away due to being unsure if he would make it. Unfortunately, Austin is still in critical condition two weeks later in the hospital, with injuries that will change his life forever.
Austin loves his independence and being handy. Along with many other things, these two are still on the line for his future. He can change the whole energy of a room and light up anyone’s day. Austin deeply cares for his friends and family and loves, more than anything, to help people. He thrives when he knows he is doing good for himself and others around him.
Right before this happened, Austin and I talked about purpose and life, and I asked him what he thought his purpose in life was. He shared that his purpose, in some shape, way, or form, is to help people who need help because seeing people do good brings him so much joy and happiness.
We have reached a point in Austin’s life where he needs support. Due to his injuries, we are unsure of his future mentally and physically. Your donations would be incredibly beneficial to helping Austin get the care he will need. Austin has a long road ahead of him and needs all the support, love, and prayers he can get. We want to thank everyone that took the time to read his story and help him today.
Drew has such a beautiful heart and soul.
We love you, buddy!
